PakWheels conducts Dealer Connect Event in Lahore, launches an application specially for traders

PakWheels.com, the online marketplace for car enthusiasts in Pakistan, recently organized Dealers Connect event in Lahore, bringing together car dealers from across the country at one forum.

PakWheels.com is working on modernizing the new and used car buying experience for the people of Pakistan with its online portal. Now to take the Pakistani online used car portal market to new heights and to educate car dealers, the company organized an event specifically targeted at educating and connecting the Pakistani car dealers. Aptly titled as “Dealer Connect Event”, the gathering was held a few days ago in Lahore.

The event which was attended by numerous dealers was also graced by the CEO PakWheels.com Raza Saeed who at the event enlightened dealers regarding online used car market share. Raza mentioned that in Pakistan on a yearly basis by 750,000 used cars and 50,000 Japanese used cars are being sold in Pakistan as compared to the number of new cars which stands at 200,000.

He further said that PakWheels.com was by far the best place to advertise for new and used cars mainly because of its audience and presence on all platforms. PakWheels is getting early visitors standing at 18 million, 9 million, and 3.2 million respectively on its forums as accessible through Mobile browser, Desktop browser, Android application and iOS application respectively. The main aim of providing these stats was too aware dealers that used car market is destined to expand.

Different services and packages which Pakwheels.com offers to professional car dealers were also explained. These packages have been designed specifically according to the car dealership needs and they help dealers in selling more cars, by providing them added advantages like unlimited featured Ads, branding, access to insights, and trusted seller badges etc.

An application made specifically for dealers was also launched in the event. The application, which was developed keeping in mind the business needs of dealers, will help dealers in managing inventory, responding to offers, viewing package details, and manage account settings etc.

The world is becoming more digital with each passing day and the trend to buy things online is on the rise. Among a score of other commodities which are now being traded online, new and used cars make for a reasonable portion. The old ways of searching for cars, like for example going to the dealer directly and/or searching from newspapers are becoming obsolete. Right now, around 45 percent of car enthusiasts globally like to search for cars online for buying purpose and this is expected to rise.

Many online portals such as Carvana, Alibaba.com and Indian used car online portal Carwale.com are redefining these industries in their respective countries while PakWheels is an indigenous brand revolutionizing this space for Pakistan.
