Pakistani game development studio weRplay released the game named “Explottens” in 2017, which has made an entry in Apple Arcade. This game is part of the first list announced by Apple for the launch of Apple Arcade.
Apple Arcade was released a few days ago with the subscription charges of $5 per month in more than 150 countries. It has a separate tab on the Apple App Store and the first month of subscription is free of cost. Apple users would be able to easily switch between Apple devices to use this feature. Explottens is a shooting game where you play as K.I.T the pilot with his rag-tag group of friends. They are out to save the world from the evil organization “K.L.A.W”. They announced the news from their official Twitter account,
weRplay was founded in August 2010 with the goal of producing high-level games. They developed many games including Lost Twins – A Surrel Puzzler, Run Sheeda Run and Dream Chaser. The Explottens was developed after four years of hard work. Bilal Ahmed Mirza was the team leader and they did a great job by developing a game which was worthy to be named among Apple’s launch titles for its flagship gaming service.
Following the Apple’s footsteps, Google has also announced a Google Play Pass to compete with Apple Arcade, in which it will give access to more than 350 apps and games without ads and in-app purchases to Android users. Google Play Pass comes with different applications including Terraria, Monument Valley, Risk, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, AccuWeather, Facetune and Pic Stitch.
