The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is launching a free six-week online training program on Generative AI, starting December 1, 2024. This program aims to equip engineers with cutting-edge AI skills, including insights into generative AI, its applications, and practical model-building techniques.
This program was created in partnership with PakAngels Silicon Valley USA, iCode Guru, and Aspire Pakistan. It allows participants to earn a QR code that can be traced internationally. This course is designed for engineers who are registered with PEC, as well as engineering managers, engineering teachers students at universities, and corporate sponsors.
Benefits of the Training Program
The program offers members a number of benefits, including the opportunity to automate tedious processes in order to increase productivity and broaden their capabilities beyond conventional engineering approaches, as stated by the PEC, which highlights the need for early adoption of AI technology. The training is being organized accordingly with a predicted global market for generative AI of $1.3 trillion by 2032.
This course will teach engineers how to build advanced engineering software without writing a single line of code, how to use AI models to analyze data and run simulations, how to come up with novel ideas and solutions, and how to solve complicated problems. This program exemplifies PEC’s dedication to enhancing Pakistan’s engineering sector through technology and educating professionals for a future driven by artificial intelligence.
If you are interested in participating in the program, you can register through the official PEC website at (link unavailable), scan the QR code on the flyer, or email [email protected] for instructions, according to PEC. This program offers engineers a great chance to be ahead of the curve and learn what they need to know to thrive in an AI-driven future, especially since the global AI market is predicted to grow at a rapid pace in the next few years.
