Pakistan unveils second drone technology at IDEAS 2016

Private Organisation Integrated Dynamics recently unveiled “Arrow”, a second drone technology at IDEAS 2016, Pakistan.

Integrated dynamics is an organisation that manufactures and exports the unmanned aerial vehicles. They also offer consultancy and turnkey solutions. The first unmanned drone they invented was “Burraq”, Arrow is its advanced form.

While speaking to media, Raja Sabri, Chief Executive of Integrated Dynamics, said,

“The best civilian application of the long range aerial surveillance aircraft {Arrow} is that it is capable of monitoring and making secure trade via the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC),”

Arrow can stay in air for straight 15 hours, commenting on this unique feature Raja Sabri said, “The feature is not available in any other such system at this economic cost … its price is not more than a valued 4X4 jeep,”

It can be controlled remotely from a range of 150 miles, “If you operate it on a satellite system then its range becomes unlimited. You can operate it in any part of the world while sitting in Karachi,” he added.

You just have to feed the data about the route and then drone will take control in the night time. He further claimed that this technology is a result of 20 years of hard work and this drone will be able to carry about 100-150 kilograms of military equipment.

It is a revolutionary concept in aerial surveillance. This optionally piloted drone is portable with just one hour assembly time on site and it can be packed in standard truck-mounted 20-foot container. Besides surveillance and monitoring purposes, it will be also used to locate any oil and gas leakages from pipelines. It will also provide necessary data to geologists and agriculturists.

The drone will be assembled in Korangi, Karachi.
