On January 03, Pakistan Navy announced that it has successfully test-fired surface-to-surface anti-ship missile.
The anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) was named as “Harba”. Harba was launched by Pakistan Navy newly commissioned fast attack craft (FAC), Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Himmat in the North Arabian Sea.
“[PNS Himmat] fired indigenously developed Harba Naval Cruise Missile, which is a surface-to-surface anti-ship missile with Land Attack capability,” said the Pakistan Navy.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was present onboard Pakistan Navy Ship “Alamgir” and witnessed the missile launch. The missile accurately achieved its target.
