Pakistan Exports First Tractors Consignment to Tanzania

LAHORE: The first shipment of tractors made in Pakistan to Tanzania has opened a new chapter in trade between Pakistan and East Africa.

Along with Masai Trekta Company, High Commissioner Ibrar Hussain and Commercial Counsellor Adeela Younis drove the export process.

The Kenyan and Tanzanian firm Masai Trekta has established a distribution center for tractors in Tanzania, where it has become an important participant in importing ATS tractors from Pakistan to the region. The company plans to expand into additional countries in the near future.

Interestingly, the tractors that were sent abroad were built at the Pak Tractors House in Lahore.

Pakistan’s Tractor Shipment to Tanzania Boosts Exports and East African Market

Many people in Tanzania and other East African countries are becoming more interested in these machines, which should help Pakistan’s exports.

Jam Kamal Khan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Commerce, praised the collaboration between the Nairobi High Commission, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), and other government agencies.

Khan said he hoped this success would lead to more agreements that would help Pakistan secure its place in the African agricultural sector.

Not only does this program assist the manufacturing sector, but the minister of commerce also pointed out that it helps the sector increase its economic footprint in Africa.
