The entrepreneurial landscape of Pakistan can be transformed by providing collaborative platforms to the local developer community, said Dr. Zahir Ali Syed, Director, Usman Institute of Technology (UIT). UIT, an affiliated institute of one of Pakistan’s leading tech university, NED University of Engineering & Technology, recently organized the ‘Pakistan Developers Conference 2019’ in Karachi.
The welcome address of Pakistan developer conference was given by Dr. Zahir Ali Syed. He said that with the collaboration of developers and IT professionals from diverse backgrounds, the tech ecosystem of the country can be improved a lot. As he stated;
“The Pakistan Developers Conference 2019 was conceived of as a platform that understands the Pakistani market and has the capacity to revolutionize the eco-system to support Pakistani entrepreneurs. UIT supports this vision, professionals from diverse backgrounds and with decades of experience have come together under the Pakistan Developers Conference 2019 to share their knowledge and help map out a path to a better tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, the conference that concluded yesterday, featured keynotes from renowned IT leaders of the country, tech talks and panel discussions on a number of important subjects surrounding innovative technologies, digital transformation and industry 4.0 challenges faced by Pakistan’s local tech ecosystem.
The conference was attended by various technology figures all across the country such as Iqbal Yousuf Sheikh – CEO Aptech Education, Khushnood Aftab – CEO Viper Technologies, Javed Edhi – Group Head & CIO, Silkbank Limited, M. Kamran – Founder DevnCode, and Kanwal Masroor – Founder TECH Pakistan Disrupt, Kh.
