Pakistan and China will come together and set up an IT industrial Park in Sindh. An MoU, on the establishment of this park, was signed between Chief Minister IT Sindh Dr. Sikandar Ali Shoro and Ministry of Industries and Information Technology of China.
An IT industrial park is an area zoned and planned for the sole purpose of development of IT industry. This area houses multiple firms working for the benefit and progress of the industry. It also acts as a dynamic business and trading platform for local and international industries.
This IT park is a result of agreements signed under CPEC. China has agreed to help Pakistan set up IT parks in every province. A similar IT park is being built in Islamabad right now and is expected to reach its phase I by 2018. That project is expected to cost 1.5 billion Dollars and will be completed in 3 phases.

He further added that they agreed to promote, and exchange views, experiences, and knowledge in the field of Information Technology and Industrial Development and strengthen the strong relations between province of Sindh and Peoples Republic of China.
