OPPO launches budget-friendly A5s in Pakistan with dual cameras & massive battery

OPPO’s new budget smartphone comes with a dual camera setup and a premium textured mirror-finish around the back.

OPPO is keeping the pace in the Pakistani smartphone industry by launching yet another low-end phone to take on the competition. While its sub-brand Realme has recently launched the Realme 3 Pro, the parent company has just affirmed the launch of OPPO A5s which will go on sale from tomorrow. The phone does offer some decent specifications for the price point of just under PKR 24,000.

The design aspect of OPPO A5s is highlighted by the rear panel having a mirror-like finish. The front display of the phone is of 6.2 inches and the IPS-LCD touchscreen of the device has an aspect ratio of 19:9 which means that you get an 81.6% screen-to-body ratio in the phone.

On the top, there is a waterdrop notch that carries the front camera. With the octa-core Helio MediaTek P35SoC being the primary processor, the phone comes with two RAM options i.e. 2GB and 4GB. The 2GB phone will have onboard storage of 32GB and whereas the 4GB variant will have 64GB of internal storage. A dedicated slot for a microSD card is also being provided.

The camera specifications have also been kept above the budget phone levels with a dual 13MP+2MP rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera in the front. The 2MP camera works as the depth sensor to make beautiful portraits. The phone packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.

OPPO A5s packs a huge battery of 4230mAh to keep it up and running all day long. The phone is offered in 4 colors, red, black green and gold.

The price of the 2GB/32GB variant of the OPPO A5s in Pakistani is around PKR 24,000. Whereas the other higher variant with 4GB RAM is not available in the market as of now.
