OnePlus 5 to arrive this summer

OnePlus has officially confirmed that its next flagship will arrive this summer. Named as OnePlus 5, the new phone is the successor to the OnePlus 3 and 3T. No one knows exactly the specifications and price of this mobile but the rumors have pinned it to be a dual camera with powerful features.

The company has named this smartphone OnePlus 5 not OnePlus 4 because the number 4 is considered bad and unlucky in China where the company’s HQ is located. This phone will be marked as the fifth smartphone manufactured by the company.

Previously the other phones made by OnePlus such as 3T has made a considerable name in the smartphone market and has earned many praises as well. Smartphones made by OnePlus sell greatly in US market due to a lesser price than its competitors.

It doesn’t ship phones by the million like Samsung and Apple but has been well received by the smartphone users.

Due to the popularity of 3T made by OnePlus the Android users are eagerly waiting for the next flagship of the company which will be coming under the name of OnePlus 5.

On the other hand, popular technology platforms believe that OnePlus is adding fuel to the rumor mill in order to get more sales and attention of techies.

Let us wait and see how it turns out to be.
