Nvidia Announces RTX 4000 Gaming GPUs Which Has 400% Faster Performance

Alas, Nvidia revealed its next-generation RTX 400 graphics cards last night. One RTX will launch probably on October 12, and the company will reveal other models afterward.

RTX 4090

The RTX 4090 is now Nvidia’s best GPU for gamers and professionals. Though you can predict from its name, this phone is a successor to the RTX 3090 and is two times faster than its previous model. Nvidia announced that it is four times faster when using DLSS. RTX 4090’s GPU has 16,384 CUDA cores with boost clocks that can go up to 2.5 GHz. Furthermore, RTX 4090 has 24 GB of GDDR6X video memory and a 384-bit memory interface.

As predicted, you will require a power plant to back up your computer as its power draw is 450W. RTX 4090 runs on a single 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 or 3x 9-pin PCIe cables. You can buy RTX 4090 from October 12, and its starting price is $1599.

The brand new RTX 4090 tends to replace RTX 3090, yet 3060, 3070 and 3080 graphics cards will be available in the market. On the other hand, there is a prediction that the lower-end RTX 4000 GPUs will not hit the market before 2023.

Currently, Nvidia has introduced two types of RTX 4080, one having 16 Gb GDDR6X memory, while the other has 12 GB. The first one has 9728 CUDA cores and a 2.51 GHz boost clock with a 256-bit memory interface, while the second is a bit cut-down version with 7680 CUDA cores, a boost clock frequency of 2.61 GHz, and a 192-bit memory interface. According to Nvidia, the 4080 is almost two to four times fast than the RTX 3080 Ti.

The power draw of the 16 GB model is 320 W, and the power draw of the 12 GB type is 285W. You can purchase 16 GB RTX 4080 for $1199 and 12 GB RTX 4080 for $899 from November.

The new graphics cards run a cut-down version of Nvidia’s full-size Ada Lovelace GPU. These graphics cards are built on TMSC’s 4nm process.

DLSS 3

The complete form of DLSS is Deep Learning Super Sampling, an Al-based technology that increases FPS in video games. The company has claimed that DLSS 3 is tough competition to RTX 4000 GPUs. DLSS 3 uses an Optical Flow Accelerator along with data from sequential frames to create on its own on GPU, instead of within the game, improving in-game FPS to almost four times.

According to the reports, more than thirty-five games like Cyberpunk2077, Dying Light 2 and others contain this feature.
