Old mate Nokia is launching its Android smartphones in Pakistan. Confirmation by Nokia came in after Advance Telecom reported that it will dispatch Nokia telephones as Nokia’s authentic dissemination accomplice.
Advance Telecom official distribution partner of HMD Global- The Home of Nokia Phones is expanding its operation in Pakistan by introducing new Nokia phones in Pakistani market.
In the ceremony to celebrate the placement order of phones, Mr. Rizwan Majid, CEO Advance Telecom reiterated the commitment that the company has made, by voluntarily deciding to dedicate all its efforts and resources to Nokia smartphones.
Mr. Kamran Khan, Head of Near East for HMD Global, appreciated the Advance Telecom team for their commitment and dedication to Nokia phones.
The details of the phones are not yet disclosed.
Moreover, earlier this year Nokia said that it would be launching Nokia 3310 in Pakistan in Q2. In this regard, Per Ekman who is the Regional Vice-President – Middle East & North Africa said, “Nokia is not an elitist brand; we are a people’s brand. It has always been a very loved brand in Pakistan so it is a key strategic market for our value proposition. In terms of sales, we don’t have a target number in mind! We would be making available what the people actually want and would address their daily needs at competitive prices”.
The company had already launched its Nokia 3310 flagship in India with the retail price tag of र3310. The memorable mobile is coming with long battery life and the ever-popular classic Snake game.
