Nokia has released some good Android phones with a handful of features. Nokia 8, Nokia 7 and Nokia 6 are the best smartphones from Nokia on Android platform known for their sleek and durable design. However, the upcoming Nokia 9 is said to be a worthy contestant for the likes of Mate 10, Galaxy S8 and even iPhone X. Leaks and rumors of the upcoming device had been surfacing during the whole year, but this new report from China seems to be something solid which claims that phone will be unveiled next month.
As reported by GSM Arena, HMD is planning to launch Nokia 9 in an event in China on January 19, 2018. The Nokia 9 is rumored to have 5.5-inch QHD display and Snapdragon 835 chipsets. The phone is also expected to have dual rear camera setup and IP67 certification for water and dust protection. The phone will have no headphone jack.
Moreover, Nokia 9 doesn’t come alone, along with it comes the Nokia 8 (2018) version. The next-gen Nokia 8 will also be made official during the same event. Both will be customized for China market, which likely entails special ROMs where Google services have been replaced by local alternatives. Both phones are likely to feature a panel with the bezel-less display of 18:9 aspect ratio.
The expected cost of Nokia 9 6GB/64GB model is $560, while the other 6GB/128GB variant will cost you $635. Well for those, who can’t wait out for the new device to launch in Pakistan, Nokia 8 is a good alternative for now, which is priced at PKR 75,000.
