Nokia 5 officially launched in Pakistan

HMD, a Global marketing partner of Nokia, has launched another one of its smartphone flagships in Pakistan entitled Nokia 5. The phone features three different colors–Matte Black, Silver and Tempered Blue and is priced at Rs 21,900. The phone features dual SIM option.

The phone features 5.2 inches screen with 16M display colors. It houses Multitouch screen option and is powered by Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430. Nokia 5 has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity, which can be extended up to 256 GB using microSD. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and has Adreno 505 as its GPU.

The company has also installed a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel frontal shooter. The phone houses a 3000 mAh Non-removable battery.

Kamran Khan, Head of Near East, HMD Global said: “Following the positive response we received after the launch of Nokia 3, we are very pleased to bring the Nokia 5 to consumers in Pakistan”.

Moreover, Nokia’s most awaited first Android based phone Nokia 8 is expected to be launched on August 16th at an event in London. The phone is rumored to feature 13-megapixel rear dual cameras developed by Zeiss optics.
