National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) has launched “Humsafar”, an app designed to facilitate Motorway users by providing them real time road condition, blockage alerts, alternative routes, and option for distressed users to call for help.
The app was launched by Minister of State for Commuication Muraad Saeed during a ceremony held on Wednesday. While talking about the application, the minister said that Motorway police has always had a good reputation due to their professionalism, and it is the resolve of this current government to make sure to introduce improvements in Police’s working to ensure they maintain this high level of performance.
He further said that the current government is focusing on a more digital style of government and will keep working to ensure a more transparent form of government.
The app is currently available for Android devcies only, but an iOS version will soon be made available to users.
