HTC U11 was announced in May this year and it was one of the best devices ever offered by HTC. The phone comes with a squeeze feature which lets you squeeze your device to perform different tasks. Like squeezing the phone lets you take a picture or silent the incoming call.
The company is going to launch another U device on November 2. It has confirmed the November 2 event in a tweet today. The tweet says that HTC is “bringing something new for the #BrilliantU”.

Some rumors suggest that the new device is going to be the HTC U 11 Plus. It has been leaked several times before and is expected to come with a huge, 4,000 mAh battery. Moreover, is it expected to come with a 5.99-inch 18:9 display with Quad HD+ resolution (1440x2880px). The chipset is going to be the Snapdragon 835 as Qualcomm did not launch Snapdragon 836 this year. It is expected to come with 2 variants, a variant with 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM and a variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM.
The main camera is said to be a single 12MP unit with f/1.7 aperture. The camera will support UltraSpeed autofocus (just another name for fast autofocus). The front camera is expected to be an 8MP unit. The phone may also feature the HTC BoomSound speakers. The phone will come in 2 colors including Brilliant Black and Amazing Silver.
Although HTC has sold its Pixel team to Google a month ago, but as it promised, the company is still making its own smartphones.
