NETSOL and Microsoft collaborate to foster entrepreneurship in Pakistan

NSPIRE, a technology incubation center of NETSOL, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Microsoft Pakistan to create value for the startup ecosystem. The ceremony took place at NETSOL offices on November 17, 2016.

NETSOL technologies is one of the Pakistan’s premier software development company. NSPIRE helps startups with creative business ideas. According to the agreement, NSPIRE will join hands with Microsoft Innovation Center, Lahore for promoting innovative ideas. The startups incubated at NSPIRE will have access to Microsoft tools and technologies, in order to help accelerate their growth without compromising on the technological aspects of their products. Both of them aim at helping the budding entrepreneurs achieve their goals by providing them with the necessary support and mentoring network. “We see a lot of potential in Pakistan when it comes to entrepreneurship. We’re excited to collaborate with NSPIRE to add value in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

Chief Operating Officer of NETSOL Technologies, Omar Ghauri said,

“NETSOL’s NSPIRE incubator is a relatively new player in this market; however, NETSOL has been contributing towards the success of entrepreneurs since its inception by giving entrepreneurial technologists an outlet to create new and useful products for clients around the globe. Collaboration with Microsoft in this front, and particularly the use of Microsoft’s powerful software engineering tools, will surely help add intense and increasing value to the NSPIRE incubator for aspiring entrepreneurs.”

This partnership aims to provide more opportunities to everyone in the technology industry of Pakistan.
