Nest I/O, the technology incubator of P@SHA, introduced its fourth batch of next-generation entrepreneurs to the investors, media and industry experts at graduation ceremony on November 28, 2016.
Nest I/O was launched less than two years ago and during such short period, it has facilitated a number of startups. The latest batch worked in technology and business education to support innovation in Pakistan. Jehan ara, the President of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), said while addressing the ceremony,
“Nest I/O hopes to assist young entrepreneurs and create more tech businesses in Pakistan. We are amazed by the quality of innovative businesses and passion of young entrepreneurs. This time too, we had a diverse set of teams, focusing on areas like education, financial inclusion and healthcare that really need to be targeted to address a number of social and economic issues in the country.”
Nest I/O is a technology incubator, launched by P@SHA in partnership with Google for Entrepreneurs and Samsung. It provides the necessary facilities like space, infrastructure and knowledge sessions, as well as a mentoring network to the entrepreneurs.
In order to receive funding, the graduating startups introduced their ideas to the potential investors on the occasion.
