National Incubation Center Quetta is now accepting applications

National Incubation Center (NIC) is now accepting applications for its first startup cohort in Quetta. The first cycle for the incubation center is going to be very crucial for the newly established center in Quetta as it will define what kind of startups are in the city and what kind of mentors would be best to train them.

The center was established in collaboration with LUMS and Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences, both prestigious educational institutes. Prior to Quetta, National Incubation Centers have been established in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar. Just like other centers, the incubation program will be equity free, will provide office space to selected startups from 4 to 6 months, with access to investors and mentors from all over the country.

National Incubation Centers are becoming a hub for all tech and entrepreneurial related initiatives in their respective cities, the centers have been a host to hackathons, talk series, investors meetups. Hence, the budding entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts always have a chance to visit the space and get to see what is going on there.

The Quetta center was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and the project is worth 560 million PKR. As we mentioned before, Balochistan has its unique set of problems that can be solved by honing young talent to drive innovation and ingenuity to turn those problems into opportunities. This is the true spirit of entrepreneurship and thus NIC Quetta as a pro-innovation hub and business accelerator will provide a platform to budding entrepreneurs to demonstrate their talent and passion to solve the problems of the province and beyond. With its state-of-art facilities, NIC Quetta will develop startups to become an engine of social transformation and economic growth.

You can apply for the program right here before August 10th.
