NADRA Introduces ‘Rahbar’ Mobile App To Facilitate Citizens

Nadra (National Database And Registration Authority) is constantly working to improve its operations digitally. On Wednesday, Nadra launched a mobile app ‘Rahbar’ which facilitates people answering their Nadra-related queries.

As we know, Nadra is constantly trying to provide modern facilities to the citizens. Chairman Nadra Tariq Malik said that earlier, it was challenging for the citizens to find the nearest location of their Nadra centers. Rahbar is a mobile app that enables users to access the nearest location best suits them. Also, the app allows them to find out the waiting time, average processing time, and other possible questions.

Furthermore, he added that such initiatives were very important to facilitate citizens. We ensure that we provide the maximum facilities to our customers by converting Nadra Offices to Nadra citizen service centers.

Through this application, the citizens would be able to access the number of citizens queued up waiting for their turn, processing time, and the location of all Nadra centers. The app will also allow you to find the nearest Mobile Registration Van and the registration office.

The Application comprises filters to sort out the centers of your choice, such as finding the female-only-centers. Moreover, you can also find 24/7 Nadra centers, Regular and Executive centers. The app has a modern feature that automatically updates the data every three minutes.

The application caters to people in English and Urdu to facilitate different languages. The advanced step taken by Nadra showcases Nadra’s technical capabilities and eccentric citizen approach. Android(iOS) and Apple users can easily download the application through the Play store and Apple store (iOS).
However, Nadra’s service will be in the public eye. This is the transparent manifestation of digital Pakistan and e-governance.

Whereas earlier in September, the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) decided to construct another Mega centre in Karachi after a long gap of five years.

The fourth mega center will take place at Karachi University Road to facilitate the people of the port city. In total, Nadra has planned to establish seven mega centers in the city. The main aim is to reduce people’s timings due to the long queue. According to the plans, Nadra will construct the other mega centers in Kemari and Malir.

Alas, with the enhancement in the stack of services, the caseload of processing has also increased.
