Multi Task More Efficiently on Your Android with Tiny Apps

Android is known for its customization capabilities, but there are areas where the OS can learn from other OEM’s. The app we are looking into today is Tiny Apps, This is a true multi-tasking experience that almost comes on par with desktop environments. The app allows you to run multiple windows on your homescreen without an individual app taking the full home screen. This feature is mostly present in Sony’s Xperia Phone’s and Samsung’s (High-end) phones where you can divide half the screen to certain apps, but this app removes that “exclusivity” without taking up too many resources!

Android phones are known for their multi-tasking capability but before users were dependent on their OEM for it. Now that limitation is removed with the help of this app. The only real limitation here is your screen size, I was able to fit in 3 Apps easily on my 5” Screen with a resolution of 480 x 854.

This is a Godsend for those of us who need to do more on the go, but have to tolerate the burden of switching between one full screen app after the other. For instance, If you are bored and want to watch a video while doing some calculations, you can leave a small video playing on the top half of your screen and on the lower half you can fit in a calculator, a stop watch or both! if you are good with playing with the screen.

When you aren’t using an app or know you will need it later, you can drag it to the top left of the screen to minimize it. It will resize itself to a tiny circular icon and you just have to drag it out of that area to bring it to the size specified by you. You can stack multiple icons on top of the other and come back to an app when you need to multitask again.

As an avid multi-tasker, I would highly recommend this app to other people who want to do more on the go. This app helps by removing the constraint of full screen applications wasting time and resources on your phone. You can download it for free by going Here. As opposed to its competitors, this app is as light as a feather and consumes little to no resources on most modern phones.
