The P@SHA Central Executive Committee (CEC) is delighted to announce it’s unanimous decision to co-opt Ms. Shahmim Rajani, COO Genetech Solutions as a member of the CEC for the years 2019-2020.
The decision of co-opting Ms. Shamim in the P@SHA CEC has been made on the basis of her highly commendable contributions to female empowerment in the IT industry and active participation in the P@SHA initiatives. Shamim has been serving the industry for more than 14 years and has dedicated a large portion of her career to enabling young women from lower-income families by co-founding CodeGirls, a coding and business boot camp for girls that helps them start their careers in the tech industry.
Besides that, Shamim is also on the Board of Advisors for WomenInTechPK and a member of the Pakistan Agile Development Society. Under her leadership, Genetech Solutions has also won the Best in Gender Diversity Award at the P@SHA ICT Awards 2019. Shamim has also been a part of multiple P@SHA and non-P@SHA delegations, including Canada Pakistan ICT Forum and Oslo Innovation Week.
Shamim has contested in the P@SHA Central Executive Committee Elections consecutively for two years and has shown great interest in the issues concerning the IT industry and how P@SHA can facilitate diversity and inclusion.
The P@SHA CEC cordially welcomes Ms. Shamim into the committee and looks forward to her contributions to the industry.
