Motorola to reveal the Moto Z2 in June 2017

June is turning out to be Motorola’s month. The Lenovo owned Company has recently announced the Moto Z2 Play in all its glory along with the two entry-level E4 and E4 Plus in June 2017. Now they tease the Moto Z2.

The Z line was introduced last year in 2016 as a replacement for the Motorola X flagship series. The Moto Z and the Moto Z Force were well received with their modular design and high-end specs. Previously, there were rumors of the second gen of the Z series for the year 2017.

Now, Motorola has started sending out a “save the date” teaser image for the event on 27 June which speculates the reveal of the Z2. The women in the picture hold a phone that is similar to the Z series design.

The phone is expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 853 processor much like its competitors. The device is said to have a 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models with 64GB and 128 GB of internal storage respectively.

The Moto Z2 is set to house a 12 MP dual-LED (dual tone) flash with dual rear cameras. The front will be an 8 MP Selfie camera. The handset is said to come with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display.

Both variants are rumored to have expandable storage up to 256 GB and to include the 3.5-mm headphone jack.

Motorola has also scheduled events on the 21st and the 30th of June where we are expected to see the Moto X4
