Moto G7 Play leaks show a single rear camera and midrange specifications

Real photos of the Moto G7 Play have emerged thanks to a filing on FCC by Motorola as well as details about the phone’s internal hardware. As of now, it will have Snapdragon 632 processors with Adreno 506 GPU, which is a step up from the Snapdragon 400 series which they used on previous models. However, there is a huge letdown, the battery capacity will be a subpar 2,820mAh battery, compared to 4000 mAh on the G6 Play.

You can see the aesthetic look of the phone in the picture below:

The G7 Play will be available in 2 colors: Black and Silvery blue. At the back, we have a single rear camera with a fingerprint sensor hidden under the Motorola logo. The design is fairly similar to the predecessors. Motorola has decided to bring USB Type-C charging and it is also retaining the headphone jack.

Although by the looks of the pictures, the notch of the phone is not visible but as you can see in the user manual below, it does exist:

G7 Play has GSM connectivity so it should be available on major carriers throughout the world. As of now, the launch date hasn’t been revealed but the filing at FCC gives a major hint that we will see a proper reveal sooner or later.

Do you like the upcoming G7 Play?
