Khaby Lame, the creator with the most followers on TikTok, has disclosed the astounding amount of money he can earn from advertisers with just one post on the platform.
Khaby Lame, now 22 years old, began uploading videos on TikTok for the first time in the year 2020. Over the course of the previous few years, he has become enormously famous a number of times owing to his wordless reactions to some of the internet’s most pointless life hacks and oddest films.
In June of 2022, the celebrity surpassed Charli D’Amelio, who held the title of most followed TikToker, to become the creator with the most followers over the entirety of the app. As of right now, Khaby has approximately 150 million followers, a number that is steadily climbing due to the increasing attention that his videos are receiving.
Alessandro Riggio, the star’s manager, stated in an interview with Fortune in September that Khaby is on course to earn $10 million this year.
Because of his internet celebrity, Khaby has been able to collaborate with a number of really well-known companies, and the payment he receives for some sponsored postings on TikTok is just staggering.
According to an article published by Fortune, “Hugo Boss, a publicly listed fashion brand with a market price of $3.7 billion, recently paid Lame $450,000 to walk in their Milan Fashion Week presentation with a single TikTok video to accompany the strut.” According to a contract that Fortune was able to examine, a big Hollywood studio has also just paid Lame 750,000 dollars for one TikTok.
When asked about the things that drive him, Khaby replied, “I enjoy making other people laugh. My family is very dear to me. I adore being around my colleagues.”
The TikTok celebrity is continuing to amass a great deal of attention on the platform, as evidenced by the fact that his most recent videos have amassed as many as 30 million views. It appears that he will maintain his position as the app’s most popular content generator for a considerable amount of time since his number of followers is also continuously increasing.
