A new video has been making rounds on digital media showing detailed mockups of all the three iPhone models that are to be released by Apple this year.
In the detailed video first posted by Mac Otakara, the 3D mockups of all the three iPhones that are to be released this year are compared. As the launch of these smartphones isn’t very far now, there are enough measurements related schematics in the markets so that the sizes of these smartphones can be examined. This video too draws schematics from existing Asian (mostly China-based) supply chain of screen protectors and plastic bags etc.
We have already been hearing that Apple plans to introduce three iPhone models this year. There would be a less expensive 6.1-inch model which would most probably come with an LCD display instead of the OLED one. The leaked information now shows that the smartphone would measure 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.5 mm in dimensions. This could be the proposed iPhone 9 smartphone that uses LED to make sure that the price doesn’t shoots up a lot.
According to the leaked schematics, the second of the three iPhones would come with a 5.8-inch form factor as currently found on the iPhone X. This, as guesses point, could be the iPhone Xs (Or iPhone SE 2) variant. One prominent change that is being noticed now is that the iPhone Xs variant could be about 1.1 mm wider than the previous iPhone X. The experts, however, say that this could just be because of a button sticking out from the sides. The smartphone would measure 143.65 x 72.03 x 7.69 mm to be exact.
There is another model with the display measuring at 6.4 inches, much closer to the rumors which stated that Apple also planned to release an upsized iPhone X model. The leaked specifications of this model now show that the smartphone boasts exactly the same size as that of iPhone 8 Plus (i.e 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.9 mm). So, for now, this smartphone is being termed as the iPhone Xs Plus.
Here’s the video, have a look at all of the three iPhone models with their expected appearances as they are to be released later this year.
