Mobilink partners with QMobile to launch JazzX Smartphones

Soon after the relaunching of Jazz, Mobilink has forged a partnership with QMobile to release new Jazz X Smartphones, JS-1 and JS-7. According to this agreement, QMobile does not only get the authority to manufacture Jazz X handsets for the largest telecom company in Pakistan. It will also be the official distributor of these smartphones across Pakistan.

This partnership advocates the strategy of Mobilink to introduce inexpensive 3G smartphones. The strategy is to increase the penetration of high-speed mobile internet across the country to achieve the aim of digitally enabled Pakistan.

Aamir Ibrahim, Deputy CEO & COO shared his vision about the partnership with QMobile,

“This partnership allows us to provide our customers with a streamlined set of solutions in order to facilitate their communication needs. QMobile’s expertise allows us to create a leading range of affordable smartphones, which meet market expectations.”

Zeehsan Akhtar, CEO QMobile believes this partnership will increase penetration in local market that has yet to experience affordable smartphones equipped with 3G internet. He shares,

“Mobilink’s superior 3G services coupled with our 3G Smartphone manufacturing expertise provides us with a product range capable of disrupting the current affordable market trends. And the power of a brand like Jazz X allows us to venture in to those areas of the local market which have not experienced the benefits of a 3G Smartphone before”

The devices are all set to make their presence at the Jazz Experience Points, Franchises and QMobile retail outlets across the country. Customers buying the Jazz X smartphones will also receive free balance, mobile data and unlimited Facebook & WhatsApp for three months.
