Microsoft Innovation Center’s Pre-Accelerator Launched in Karachi

We are no longer in the era where entrepreneurs like Richard Branson and Bill gates were miraculously born, it’s the age of science and tech where the possibility to create or at least refine entrepreneurs is highly possible. Yes, no kidding…not at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; I’m not talking magic.

With the rise of people with complementary capabilities of a viable business but not enough skills to give it a real picture; institutions where entrepreneurs could be taught and advised to develop business models, marketable product or service and competitive marketing strategies was much needed. Here is when accelerator programs were introduced for aspiring entrepreneurs, which were in search of exemplary models of entrepreneurship.

The question is, how to get an acceptance for your idea at such Accelerator Programs? Here is when Microsoft Innovation Centers announced the launch of a Pre-Accelerator program for all those brilliantly ambitious entrepreneurs who strive to bring their business model to existence. This program will help entrepreneurs refine their idea and test waters before investing huge amounts and risking their jobs. Genius, isn’t it?

MIC recently announced the launch of this 12 week intensive program in Karachi, at Microsoft Innovation Center in Bahria University. The program will take entrepreneurs through an idea validation process, rapid prototyping, development of a product, go-to-market techniques, and a variety of key skills needed to succeed as a startup founder. This can be the first step in making your business dream come true. For more information on program, locations, eligibility or to apply visit: http://micprogram.venturehive.co/

Like they say at Microsoft ventures:

“Not every entrepreneur is born equally. But we believe every good idea should have an equal shot at viability by providing access to the tools, resources, and expertise necessary.”
