Meta Improves Affiliate Link Visibility To Aid Facebook Creators

Meta is enhancing Facebook’s affiliate link services, giving content creators new ways to make money from their work.

With this change, the social media giant allows creators and businesses to make the most of their campaigns and increase sales.

Facebook Affiliate links

In the past, Facebook only allowed affiliate links to appear as plain URLs in captions. This update, however, represents a substantial change in the manner in which these partnerships are presented.

Affiliate links are now more apparent in Meta’s several post formats, including text, images, videos, and Reels. You may see the affiliate links shown at the bottom of the user interface within Reels.

Meta has also improved the display of affiliate links in comments and provided a new structure for text posts that include them.

A new auto-detection system for affiliate links from certain domains has also been developed by the social media giant. The “paid partnership” label should now be used by creators whenever an affiliate link is found. All Facebook Pages and Professional Profiles will soon receive these improvements.

How to Effectively Use Affiliate Links on Facebook?

During the publication process, affiliate links might be shown in reels and videos. Find the option to “add product links” under “earn money,” and fill it out.

On the other hand, you can display the affiliate links in text or photo posts by going to Post Settings, hitting “earn money,” and then choosing “add product links.”
