Meta AI set to introduce memory feature in WhatsApp

Meta is preparing to introduce a new customized Memory feature for its chatbot. Earlier this year, they added voice message support for Meta AI chats on WhatsApp.

According to WABetaInfo, the upcoming Memory feature will allow Meta AI to remember all the information you’ve shared, ensuring it provides relevant responses in future conversations.

Remarkably, Meta AI’s Memory feature will be able to remember details such as your birthday, personal interests, and more, allowing it to tailor future responses based on the information you’ve provided.

Users have not had access to this feature as yet, but it was discovered in the Android WhatsApp beta. However, a new Memory section will soon be available on the Meta AI contact card.

With the use of a specific command called “remember this,” users will also be able to manually input data into Meta AIs. Note that users can simply remove or edit the information they provide to Meta AI at any moment; they will have full control over it.

Meta has not yet made a public announcement about this feature, and its release date is unknown.
