Major Update Unveiled for Tesla Model Y, the Best-Selling EV Worldwide

With a significant 2025 upgrade, the Tesla Model Y, the world’s best-selling electric vehicle, continues to capture the hearts of EV enthusiasts. The updated model features an enhanced design, cutting-edge technology, and improved performance, solidifying its position as one of the most coveted electric vehicles globally.

Codenamed “Juniper,” the updated Model Y made its debut in China and Australia, with production centered in Tesla’s Shanghai factory. Previously available in select regions, this refreshed version is set to arrive in the UK later this year, maintaining its popularity worldwide.

The updated Model Y showcases a sleek, aerodynamic design, drawing inspiration from Tesla’s “hammerhead” style. Key exterior upgrades include:
