Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has partnered with 1LINK to provide financial services to its students. The initiative will help students pay their fees through any 1Link member bank’s Alternate Delivery Channels such as Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, ATMS, IVR and Call Centers.
Students usually face late fee charges as they are unable to pay fees on time due to bank holidays. Now, with this partnership, students can make payment from any convenient location, any time of the day and any day of the week.
This is the first time that any educational institution in Pakistan has partnered with 1Link to avail student on 24/7 basis. 1Link is Pakistan’s largest interbank system which helps customers to access or transfer funds to and from any bank across the country.
This step should be taken in other universities too in Pakistan which can be helpful for both students and university administration. Share your views in the comment section below.
