It has been five days since that fateful earthquake that shook Nepal to its core took place. As of 29th April 2015, the disaster has been reported to take away more than 6000 lives. Miraculous stories of survivors keep pouring in every day. While the international community, including Pakistan, instantly promised relief efforts for the country, there has been a mixed reaction on the aid that has been received by the affected people.
A lot of people have been wondering whether there is any convenient way of getting the much needed help across. Well, thanks to the popular communication app, LINE, there is. Playing their part in relief efforts, LINE has recently released a set of charity stickers, “Pray for Nepal”. All proceeds from the sticker purchase (after deduction of service charges) will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society’s relief funds for the quake victims.
The stickers will be available for purchase from today until May 31 through the in-app Sticker Shop and LINE STORE (https://store.line.me) for USD 0.99 or 50 LINE Coins.
