Lenovo releases ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original ThinkPad, Lenovo has spun out a special tribute version of it. A special versioned Thinkpad which reminisces the original ThinkPad first launched 25 years ago.

The special edition laptop is now available to order from Lenovo official website at $1,899.

The biggest inspiration that has been taken from the original ThinkPad is its styling. So the laptop has a retro feel to it. The most notable thing is the multi-colored Thinkpad logo, the blue colored enter button is also quite prominent and the signature TrackPoint.

Although the externals might remind you of the original ThinkPad, Lenovo has made sure that the internal configuration is modern and at par with configurations in laptops these days.

ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25 is packed with an Intel Core i7-7500U CPU, 512GB of SSD storage, discrete NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics and 16GB of RAM. That’s in addition to a 14-inch 1080p touch display, a fingerprint reader, and facial recognition.

The laptop is expected to be made available in Pakistan in 3 to 4 months but the price is expected to be premium.
