Lahore and Multan Suspend Schools and Outdoor Activities Until November 24

LAHORE: The Director General of Environmental Protection announced that schools in Multan and Lahore will remain closed until November 24.

All outdoor events, including sports, exhibits, and festivals, are canceled during this time. Nevertheless, there will be no funeral rituals.

Both cities have a construction prohibition that lasts until November 24. This ban includes brick kiln operations as well. Also, until January 31, you can’t light off fireworks in Lahore.

All restaurants in Lahore and Multan prohibit takeaway orders after 8 p.m., and outdoor dining is only allowed until 4 p.m.
