KP writes to PTA over mobile network and internet disruptions

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has raised concerns over mobile network and internet disruptions in government offices across the province.

Dr. Shafqat Ijaz, the Special Assistant for Science and Technology, has written to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) officials urging quick action.

Dr. Ijaz’s letter highlights that mobile network and internet disruptions are affecting daily operations in government offices. Unreliable internet services have created delays and hindered communication.

He pointed out that the network issues are slowing down administrative tasks and interfering with work that requires constant online connectivity. This has reduced productivity across multiple government departments.

Dr. Ijaz also noted that youth engaged in online jobs and digital entrepreneurs are facing difficulties due to these ongoing issues.

The letter calls for PTA to restore mobile network coverage and ensure reliable internet access. The KP government urges telecom companies to improve network infrastructure and address these frequent connectivity problems.
