Kp Launches Training Program To Boost Youth Skills

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has introduced several initiatives to enhance the province’s infrastructure, create more employment opportunities, and equip its citizens with valuable skills.

As part of these efforts, the provincial government has allocated Rs. 11.5 billion to launch a transformative program aimed at providing free training to 60,000 young individuals and generating an additional 25,000 job opportunities.

The provincial education department announced that 42,000 people in rural regions and merging districts will receive incentives of up to Rs 80,000. The province’s data shows that 37,000 students have graduated from public technical institutes and 36,000 from private ones. The initial phase will involve 19,000 participants, both male and female. To date, 806 people have completed training, and 312 grant applications have been submitted.

Home Loans with No Interest

Houses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can now get interest-free loans of up to Rs 1.5 million through the Ehsaas Apna Ghar program, which was announced earlier this month. The Bank of Khyber and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Department started the program. Its goal is to help low-income families find cheap housing. A seven-year payback plan is part of the plan, which has an estimated cost of four billion rupees.

Health Centres’ Solarization

The health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa intends to solarize 195 health institutions in four districts—Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, and Haripur—as part of the KP-HCIP campaign. A total of 151 BHUs, 25 rural health centres, 13 Category D hospitals, and 6 Category C hospitals will have solar energy systems installed as part of the project, which is estimated to cost more than Rs 23 billion.
