Knowledge Platform brings 2nd Annual Learn Smart Pakistan in Islamabad on 5th November

Learn Smart Pakistan was introduced by Knowledge Platform in 2014 as a non-profit initiative with the aim of providing Pakistani students and teachers with quality educational resources. Following the unprecedented success of Learn Smart Pakistan 2014, the learning challenge was launched once again during the summer of 2015. However, this year the competition was expanded to include two additional subjects (English and Mathematics) in addition to components such as teacher boot camps and student workshops. The participation rate for LSP 2015 increased 7.9 times: 1,533 participants (including 1,314 students and 219 teachers) enrolled from 332 schools and 78 cities across Pakistan.

To culminate Learn Smart Pakistan 2015,Knowledge Platform is organizing an Education Forum, to be held in Islamabad on November 5th. The primary aim of the forum is to bring together experts from both the education and technology industries to investigate the macro trends that are shaping the education industry within Pakistan, and identify market opportunities for educational institutions to stay competitive and relevant in an increasingly digital world. The event will focus on Innovation in Learning and Teaching by demonstrating the use of technology and digital content for in-class and out-of-class knowledge acquisition. The audience will be introduced to high impact interactive educational games and content tailored to Pakistan’s Educational Institutions, followed by a panel of experts who will give their insights on the vibrant national EdTech landscape. The Awards Ceremony for Pakistan’s only digital learning challenge will be organized as a part of the Education Forum.
