RoboSprint has been held annually since 2009 by Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE). Its purpose is to promote enthusiasm in the field of robotics especially targeting the undergraduate students.

Twenty-two teams of innovators and creators from different universities, institutes and colleges took part in the competition, which included Center of Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), PAF-KIET, University of Central Punjab, IBA Sukkur, NED University, Iqra University, Sir Syed University, University of Karachi and Dawood University.

Students of Sir Syed University (SSUET) won in the general category, where PAF KIET’s team secured second place. Under the special category, Centre for Advanced Studies in Engineering secured first position and Sir Syed University was declared the runner-up. Younger students took part in the junior category and displayed their skills and interest in the field of robotics.

The competition prize money summed up to Rs. 600,000 which was distributed amongst the winners and the runner-ups. The event proved to be a success and was attended by the likes of students, representatives of academia and other professionals.
