Khawateen Rozgar Services – A hope for women with ambitions

In a country with fewer employment opportunities for women, an organization named Khawateen Rozgar Services working on providing job opportunities to women with ambitions.

Khawateen Rozgar Services was formed in November 2018 in the city of Peshawar with the purpose of empowering women in Pakistan. The founder Misbah Faiz started this organization when she realized the trouble a woman faces to find a job and then the behavior she bears at the workplace.

While talking to TechJuice Misbah said “In my first job, I saw my female colleagues being psychologically harassed and even when the top management knew about it, no one was ready to take any action against it. The circumstances that I had to face brought me on the verge of quitting that particular job but the inner will power made stand by my colleagues and be a support for them.”

At that time she decided that there should be a platform that not only provides job opportunities to women but also assure a safe environment at the workplace.

Today Khawateen Rozgar Services is connecting women with different organizations and industries for job opportunities. The company is focused on establishing a strong connection between women and the job market.

Khawateen Rozgar Services has created a database of more than 9,000 females through a registration process and it has already placed 379 females in different companies. In the selection process for a job, an organization put demands for woman worker for a certain job and then Khawateen Rozgar Services shortlists the best matched female human resource from their database.

Providing a safe environment to the employee is the first priority for KRS, therefore KRS pays a visit to the organizations which decide to avail their services. If the environment is not satisfying according to the KRS guidelines, it does not do work with them.

Khawateen Rozgar Services keeps the track of the women after placing them on a job and also instructs them to report any kind of harassment they face at the workplace. Sometimes KRS also pays surprise monitoring visits to the employer’s office. So far KRS has generated an income of 1.77 Million PKR for the females in KP.

In the end, Misbah Faiz said “Behind every successful woman, is a tribe of other successful women” and today she stands as a support to thousands of women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
