K-Electric launches mobile app for registering consumers complaints

To facilitate the citizens of Karachi and to improve its customer service, K-Electric (KE) has launched a new mobile app. Through this app, consumers can lodge complaints easily, access their billing history and locate the nearest customer service center.

After signing in the application, the app will allow users to access a number of features including information about your billing details, you can download duplicate copies of your bills. The app also has integrated unit consumption comparative graphs to view details regarding the daily consumption of electricity units.

The users can also view live power updates directly from the mobile application. Moreover, users can also report power theft in their areas or any other block/town where they witness this kind of illegal activity. With the increase in the amount of power theft in Karachi which is causing great power loss to the whole country providing an easy way to file a complaint about power, theft will help the authorities in taking prompt action against the culprits.

K-Electric’s spokesperson in a statement said, “We have always believed in providing state-of-the-art solutions to our customers, We already offer a wide range of avenues to address consumer requests ranging from 30 customer care centers spread across its network, as well as one of the largest call centers state of the art consumer experience platform”.

With the number of smartphone users increasing in Pakistan, a dedicated K-Electric mobile app will allow users to easily access their billing details and add complaints while sitting in their homes. The mobile app is available on both the Android Play Store and Apple Store and consumers can also download it from the KE’s Web Portal.
