JazzCash App Faces Widespread User Complaints After Latest Update

Following a recent update and rebrand, numerous users have reported significant issues with the JazzCash mobile application. On the Google Play Store, one user noted that the app has become “highly unreliable,” citing lags during recharging, accessing mobile packages, and making payments.

Another user reported that “money receipt is not showing,” while others mentioned being unable to load packages, with the app frequently crashing.

Detailing the challenges faced, another user commented on the new update, stating, “The main issue I’m facing is that ‘new device detected’ and for its ‘biometric verification.’ I’ve been trying for three days to log in to my account, but at biometric verification with the camera, it doesn’t move further. When I place my left hand, it takes pictures of my left-hand fingers and doesn’t move for right-hand verification. And a notification comes ‘Updated Please try again.’ Still, I’m unable to log in to my account. Please provide me a solution, Jazz.”

On multiple social media platforms, users are complaining about the issues with the recent update stating that, “The new update is horrible, the whole app keeps crashing… I did uninstall and then reinstall / clear the cache but it’s not even opening and now I can’t even log in. Kindly fix this problem.”

Users on social media platforms like Facebook and the Google Play Store have expressed widespread dissatisfaction, indicating that the app may have significant underlying issues.

The underlying cause of these issues remains unidentified, and the JazzCash team is not offering adequate assistance. Instead, they are simply advising users to update to the latest version of the app, even though several users have reported that they are already using the most recent version.
