Blend, an Italian company, has agreed to introduce a modernized and advanced Concrete machinery manufacturing plant with the cooperation of SWAN which is its partner company from Pakistan.
A MoU was inked between SWAN and Blend at Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) on Tuesday. Blend will be establishing a manufacturing plant in Pakistan. The ceremony of signing was graced by the presence of the Italian Consul General in Karachi Gianluca Rubagotti, and the Chairperson SBI Ms. Naheed Memon. Ms. Naheed stated that the collaboration will create jobs and at the same time render technological development to Sindh.
The cooperation was made possible due to pivotal efforts of the SBI. The Chairperson SBI herself visited Italy and Germany. During her visit, she held meetings with several corporate entities and convinced them to invest in Pakistan.
Blend is an Italian company with significant expertise in manufacturing mobile plants for concrete. The company also develops construction trucks and railway bogeys.
Pakistan’s economy has been performing well for some time. Pakistan’s economy recently clinched an MSCI upgrade. AMC ranked Pakistan among top emerging market of South Asia. Pakistan has also started to attract investments from foreign companies as well as countries. Recently, some Chinese entrepreneurs visited Pakistan to explore some investment opportunities.
