iPhone 7 expected to debut next week

Apple is holding its big event of the fall on 7th September and it is expected that they will finally be showing the world a glimpse of the much-awaited iPhone 7.

For the past five years, Apple has been holding dedicated events in September to launch their new products. So it would be correct to assume that the iPhone 7 will be debuted in a similar fashion. Furthermore, the show will also present the new updated Apple Watches.

The rumor mill has been running wild with speculations about the new iPhone 7. Based on what we know so far, there will be no 3.5 mm headphone jack in the phone. The iPhone 7 will be relying on Lightning cable headphones instead of the traditional ones. Apple has always promoted the idea of completely sealed products and the removal of the earphone jack would be a final step towards it. And, it would also help make the new phone waterproof and dust-proof.

Furthermore, a capacitive Home button is expected to be favored in place of the physical Home button found in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. The main reason behind this being that a physical button is more prone to faults and failures.

According to a few leaked images of the 4.7” iPhone 7, it will probably come with a bigger camera as compared to its predecessors. There hasn’t been a word on the exact specifications of the camera but at the very least you can hope for better picture quality.

An upgraded processor and graphics chipset is also expected. There has also been news circling that the iPhone 7 will drop the 16GB model in favor of the 32GB one. Lastly, the iPhone 7 is also expected to be launched in Deep Blue and Deep Black color options instead of the traditional Space Grey color.

Now coming towards the Apple Watch, ever since the initial uproar at the launch the excitement died out quickly. However, Apple is hoping to revive their luxurious smartwatch by bringing in two new versions.

We are all eager to see what tricks Apple has up their sleeve. Hopes are high for the latest iPhone because the previous models haven’t fared well with Apple’s smartphone sales declining consecutively for three quarters.
