Upcoming iPhone 11 and iPhone X Plus may have super size & lower price

Apple’s 2017 lineup of iPhones that includes iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the special edition for Apple’s 10th anniversary, iPhone X has been the most innovative models the company has announced until now. But the company might be planning to make significant changes in its 2018 lineup of iPhones in terms of design, features, and prices as well.

According to earlier reports, Apple is rumored to be introducing three new models of iPhones in 2018 i.e. a 6.5-inch OLED model, a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and a new mini iPhone — iPhone SE 2. A new report has surfaced and it claims that Apple may replace its iPhone 9 nomenclature with iPhone 11 and iPhone 11S models. And the upcoming flagships of 2018 will have super sizes and lower prices, as stated in the report.

Well, this is certainly going to be a big change, as the biggest screen size in Apple’s smartphone lineup so far is on iPhone X, which is 5.8-inches tall. Looks like Apple is planning to back-off from its old belief which was: a smartphone is a thing that fits in your hands. The rumored 6.5-inch OLED model is enough proof for that.

Furthermore, the upcoming models are going to be a lot cheaper than previous models. Considering the fact that iPhone SE 2 will lie in mid-range segment and 6.1-inch iPhone will use LCD which is not much expensive. The 6.1-inch LCD model could cost around $650. However, the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus may be a bit expensive because of its OLED panel.

Along with other innovative features of iPhone X, Face ID may also make its way into the next batch of iPhones. And the rumors of Touch ID embedded in the display still persist. iPhone X’s Animoji feature will also be included in the next bigger variant. All upcoming models of 2018 will certainly get the upgrade of the next version of Apple’s mobile operating system, likely to be called iOS 12.

The mid-range champion, iPhone SE 2 is expected to make an early debut in June, however, other models are likely to be released in September this year. Still, there is very little official knowledge about these upcoming iPhones, and we will keep you posted with any important news about these models.
