Instagram adds face filters to live video

Instagram keeps adding new features to keep its users engaged and happy. The social media platform has now enabled face filters for live video streaming.

All of the current face filters are now available for the live stream as well. You can start the live video anytime and filters will be visible to you which you can add at runtime.

However, there is a new filter exclusive to live video streaming and it features sunglasses with lens reflection. You can also change the scenery with one tap with this new feature. This filter will remain exclusive to live streaming for one week. If you want to try it now, you’ll have to start the Instagram live stream.

Using live filters is easy. You just need to start the live stream and tap the face icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. Filters can be added either before the live stream starts or you can add and change them anytime during the live video.

Face filters are already a part of the Facebook live video and the company brought them to Instagram just today. Now we have to see if Facebook enables live video in WhatsApp as well. Instagram is becoming more like Facebook. A few weeks ago, Instagram added the functionality to share stories directly to Facebook. It also added a feature to view Instagram stories on its desktop website.
