Innovate47, a Pakistani accelerator program, has extended its Climate Action Accelerator program to African startups. This initiative now includes participants from South Africa, Malawi, Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria, joining counterparts from Pakistan in tackling urgent climate issues.
The program supports startups addressing challenges in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, waste management, and carbon reduction. Over three months, participants benefit from tailored mentorship, interactive workshops, and access to a global network of industry leaders and investors.
Speaking on the expansion, Innovate47 Founder Umair Sheikh expressed excitement about the inclusion of African innovators. “The entrepreneurial talent across Africa is remarkable. By connecting these changemakers with resources and networks, we can accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.”
The initiative focuses on a broader effort to promote cross-border collaboration and harness entrepreneurial innovation for a sustainable future.
