InfoTech Group implements an ERP solution in PIA for innovation and productivity

InfoTech Group has successfully implemented a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to upgrade the existing system of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

InfoTech Group is a leading systems integrator and technology solution provider of Pakistan. It has won P@SHA ICT Award in “Financial Applications” category for its fully managed financial service in 2016. The integrated ERP solution provided by InfoTech will enable PIA to become more strategically aligned with the aviation industry, hence increasing its productivity.

The automation of key business functions would mean smarter decision making, better risk management, enhanced efficiency in operations and the ability to strategically plan the future because of better forecasting.

A ceremony was held at PIA Training Center Karachi to commemorate the successful implementation of ERP. Speaking on the occasion, CEO of PIA Mr. Bernd Hildenbrand said that the automation and implementation of ERP will enable PIA’s management to have better control and operational efficiency, in addition to improving decision making with robust and accurate business information, integrated operations, transparency and simple easy-to-use interface.

InfoTech is known for its patented express delivery methodology which has delivered implementations within and outside Pakistan up to 50 percent faster. InfoTech was able to deliver solutions including Financials, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Maintenance Management, Hyperion and Business Intelligence, in just one year which is a best in class time for such a complex implementation, according to Oracle.
