Indus Motor Company (IMC), which makes Toyota cars in Pakistan, has said that production will be temporarily suspended from November 18 to November 20, 2024. The decision is made at a time when the company is facing a scarcity of crucial components and raw resources.
In a statement submitted to the stock exchange on Friday, IMC brought attention to the difficulties caused by continuous interruptions in the supply chain. The company said it was having more and more trouble getting the parts it needed, which was affecting its ability to keep up production levels.
