InDriver Announces Expansion As Uber Steps Back in Pakistan

Nowadays traveling has become easy for everyone within a city. These ride-hailing apps promote mobility in the emerging world. It helps people to travel from one place to another without facing any hazards.

InDriver which is known as InDriver is all set to expand its operations in Pakistan to five cities. Currently, the company is operating in eleven cities of Pakistan which includes, including Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.

Sidra Khan, Manager of Public Relations and Communication for the South Asian Region of InDriver. In a business, the event shared her views with Bussiness Recorder by saying that the ride-hailing service is planning to expand its operations to five cities in Pakistan.

Moreover, InDriver is the most downloaded ride-hailing app in Pakistan with 40% of all downloads in such category, she added.

InDriver is one of the best worldwide IT and Transportation platforms. The platform is facilitating people since 2012. Not only this but InDriver is constantly providing it’s best services in 47 countries.

Natalia Kolmakova, inDriver’s Director of Public Relations stated that Pakistan is an amazing market. The company is planning to launch services to support convenient mobility solutions.

Moreover, she added that the company always prioritized entering underserved areas.

Uber Closes it’s Operations in Major Cities

Uber, the popular ride-hailing company is discontinuing its operations in major cities of Pakistan. The company announces that it is planning to stop its operations in various cities. Which includes Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Peshawar and Faisalabad.

However, everybody will not get the same prompt while booking a ride. If you try to book a ride, it will give you a message “Unfortunately, Uber is currently unavailable in your area”.

As soon as Uber discontinue its operations, InDriver decided to expand its operations. This indicates InDrive’s latest strategic move.
